          A.  We are on the verge of moving away from the old year and starting a new year.

                1.  This can be a time of rededication, etc.

                2.  Consideration might be given to obeying God’s plan of salvation or rededicating
                     ones life to God.  2 Corinthians 6:2 (854)

          B.  As we approach the new year, let’s ask ourselves if we are qualified to work with God.

      I.  Five criteria we must meet in order to work with God.

          A.  We must know God and Jesus.  John 17:1-3 (796); John 10:25-30; John 14:6

          B.  We must obey God’s/Christ’s commands.  1 John 2:3-6 (900)

          C.  We must have faith in God’s word.  Romans 10:17 (836)

          D.  We must live holy and acceptably before God.  Romans 12:1-2 (837)

          E.  We must pray for wisdom.  Jeremiah 10:23 (565); James 1:5-7 (891)

    II.  Response

         A.  Obedience to God’s plan of salvation.  Acts 8:35-39 (808)

         B.  Rededication to God.  Romans 12:1-2 (837); 1 John 1 (900)

         C.  When?  2 Corinthians 6:1-2 (854)
