CERTAIN PRINCIPLES OF PRAYER

A. Jesus told about a widow receiving justice from an unjust judge because of her
B. If an unjust judge can be brought to such action, how much more will our Heavenly
Father give us all things that are needful. Not a likeness between God and the judge,
but a contrast. Matthew 7:11 (707)
C. Does this mean that God will give us everything we desire? NO, because there are
certain principles involved in prayer.
I. God knows better than we what is good for us. Matthew 7:11 (707)
II. God sees all the time. 2 Chronicles 16:9 (361)
III. Our prayers must be sincere. James 1:5-7 (891)
IV. We must make ourselves available to do our part.
A. Nehemiah as an example. Nehemiah 4:8-9 (391)
V. We must pray for God’s will to be done.

A. Our Heavenly Father desires us to ask Him for what we need and He gives us what is
best for us.
