                                    Matthew 28:18-20; Ephesians 4:11-13

    A.  Review of the rapid growth of the early church. 

    B.  A second church growth principle.

    I.   To experience church growth, we must have a church vision.  Proverb 29:18

         

         A.  Our vision should be the same that Jesus has for His church.  Matthew 28:18-

               20; Ephesians 4:11-13

               1.   From these passages, we derive three major components:

Evangelism (Matt. 28:19)

Maturing disciples (Matt. 28:19-20; Eph. 4:13)

Equipping disciples (Matt. 28:20; Ephesians 4:12)

Conclusion

    A. We have noted previously that for us to grow we must teach the good news and

          that God saves those who accept.

    B.  This morning we have looked at three components of the Lord’s vision for His

          church.

    C.  These principles must be applied for us to experience church growth
