DO YOU HAVE A WEDDING GARMENT?

  Introduction

       A.  This story told by Jesus was about a man who came to a king’s feast in his work
             clothes.  V12
       B.  Because he had no sense of respect indicated by not wearing a wedding garment,
             he was removed.  Vv12-13
       C.  Our lesson is centered around this question:  As we worship God, do we have the    
             proper respect?

  I.  We don’t have guidelines that regulate our dress wear in detail to worship, but we know
       what is appropriate.

  II.  As we worship God, do we have the proper respect based on what Jesus said in John 4:24?

Conclusion:  Do I have a wedding garment to wear?  As I worship God, do I give Him the
