GOD DELIVERS

                                                Psalm 107:6,13,19,28

  Introduction

      A.  Would you want someone to help you if you were in serious trouble?  Example

      B.  There are people in spiritual trouble who are in jail because of satan’s stronghold.

      C.  They need deliverance.  When they turn to God, He will deliver them.  Psalm 107

  Body

       I.  God delivers.

            A.  God delivers us from the imprisonments of life.  Psalm 107:10-13

                  1.  This passage refers to prisoners who sat in darkness because they rebelled

                       against the words of God.

                  2.  When an individual reaches the age of accountability, he becomes a

                       spiritual prisoner.  Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23

                  3.   God offer him deliverance.  John 8:32; Romans 6:15-19,22-23

            B.   God  delivers us from the guilt and sin of life.  Psalm 107:17-19

                   1.  How do we call on God for salvation?  Acts 2:21-24,31-33,36-39

            C.   God delivers us and meets our needs.  Psalm 107:4-7

                    1.  These Israelites needed a city and a dwelling place and God provided.

                    2.  We need: salvation and all its benefits and God supplies.  Philippians
