        A.  Every human being is spiritually dead and is in need of being saved from this           

        B.  Only God can give us spiritual life.  Vv4-5

        C.  I would like for us to focus on the greatness of God’s love.

    I.  The ‘who’ of God’s love.

        A.  The source of God’s love is God.  Ephesians 2:4; 1 John 4:8,16 (901)

        B.  God’s love is everlasting.  Jeremiah 31:3 (581)

              1.  God has always loved and always will love.

              2.  There is nothing that we can do to cause God not to love us.  Examples:

        C.  We see the quality of God’s love in John 3:16. (781)

  II.  The ‘what’ of God’s love.  John 3:16-17

        A.  The what of God’s love is every person who has ever lived or will ever live.

              1.  God loves us no matter who we are.  Examples:

              2.  God loves us no matter what sins we have committed.  All who repent can be saved.  

  III.  The ‘where’ of God’s love.

        A.  God’s love is in Jesus.  John 3:16-17; Ephesians 2:4-7 (864); Romans 5:
              1-11 (832)

  IV.  The ‘when’ of God’s love.  Romans 5:8 (832).  Remember that God’s love is everlasting.

  V.  The ‘why’ of God’s love.

        A.  Because He wants to have fellowship with us.  Exodus 34:14 (162); 1 John 1:
              3,7 (899); Acts 3:19 (803)

Conclusion:  Review and invitation
