GOD’S WAY IS BEST

  Introduction

       A.  Sometimes we’re tempted to be envious of ungodly people and their wealthy

             possessions.  Examples:

       B.  This is a big mistake.  Vv 1,7,9, and 20

       C.  What do we need to do to maintain the proper perspective?

   I.  Commit our way to the Lord.  V5

       A.  There are those who insist on clinging to their ways.  Example:

       B.  To enjoy what is best for us, we must surrender to God’s will.  Luke 9:23 (760)

             Examples:

       C.  We learn God’s will from His instruction book.  2 Timothy 3:16-17 (880)

  II.  Trust in the Lord.  Psa. 37:5

      A.  There are those who trust in their possessions.  Examples:

            1 Timothy 6:17-19 (879)

      B.  We should trust in the Lord (Prov. 3:5-7-p486), because His way is best ( Ps. 37:40-

            443).

III.  Believe we will be blessed by the Lord.  Psalm 37:5

      A.  God will bless us now.  1 Timothy 4:8-10 (877)

      B.  God will reward us in eternity.  1 Tim. 4:8;  1 Cor. 15:58; 1 Peter 1:3-5 (894)

Conclusion
