GOD’S WORD IN MY HEART

                                                         Psalm 119:11-16

        A.  As we gather information, there are certain questions that are important to ask.

              Who?  What?  Where?  Why?  When?  How?

        B.  Let’s use these questions to enable us to have a better understanding of Psalm

             119:11.

    I.  Who is to regulate our lives?

        A.  There are four possibilities.

              I/You can.  Examples

              Others can.  Examples

              satan can.   Examples

             

              God can.   Examples

        B.  God desires to regulate us for our good through His word.  Verse 11-- “Your

              Word”  Psalm 119:105

  II.  What are we to do with God’s word?  Verse 11-- “hidden in my heart”

        A.  Why do we hide important documents?

        B.  We are to hide God’s word in our heart.

III.  Where are we to hide God’s word?  Verse 11--”in my heart”

        Romans 10:11

        Proverb 4:23

        Romans 6:17

IV.  Why should we hide God’s word in our hearts?  Verse 11-- “that I might not sin

         against you” Examples

  V.  When should we hide His word?  In the present, continually.

VI.  How are we to hide God’s word in our hearts?

        A.  We must listen to God through His word.
