HOW WE SHOULD LIVE
                                                   2 Corinthians 5:15 (854)



  Introduction

       A.  It’s been said, “talk is cheap.”  “That it’s important, not what we say, but what
             we do.”

       B.  Professing to be a Christian is a great affirmation, but we must also live what we
             profess.

       C.  “All that gliders is not gold, nor is an outward profession the sign of an inward
             possession.”

       D.  Let’s consider four principles that will assist us in living what we preach.

   I.  Live in Christ.  2 Corinthians 5:17 (854)

       A.  How do we get in Christ?  Galatians 3:26-29 (861); 2 Corinthians 5:21

       B.  Our sins have been forgiven, old things are passed away and we are new creatures.

       C.  We should live as new and different people because we are.  Romans 8:1-5 (834)

  II.  Live like Christ.  1 Peter 2:21 (895)

       A.  Jesus is our example in thinking, hearing, seeing, speaking and doing. 1 Corinthians
             6:19-20

III.  Live for Christ.  Hebrews 13:21 (891)

       A.  Requires self denial and sacrifice.  Luke 9:23-24 (760)

IV.  Live with Christ.  Galatians 2:20 (860); Hebrews 13:5

       A.  Now
