    C.  But what if Jesus had never been born?

Body

     I.  If Jesus had never been born,

         A.  We would not have a perfect example.
                1.  I have known several great men and women.  Examples
                2.  I never saw perfection in them.  Romans 3:23
                3.  The only one who can claim perfection having never made a mistake is
                     Jesus.  1 Peter 2:21-22

          B.  We would not have an incomparable teacher.
                1.  Comments made about Jesus.  Nicodemus in John 3:2, temple guards in
John 7:46, and a crowd in Matthew 7:28-29

          C.  We would not have the opportunity for the remission or forgiveness of sins.
                Hebrews 9:18-23; Hebrews 10:1-7; Hebrews 9:23-28
