INVOLVEMENT IN THE LORD’S WORK
                                                      1 Corinthians 15:58 (851)

  Introduction

       A.  Comments about the importance of the Lord’s work.

       B.  Let’s consider two attitudes that enable us to do the work of the Lord.

   I.  The first attitude is conviction (steadfast and immovability).

       A.  Conviction:  “……..   being found guilty.”  “…… being persuaded or convinced.”
             Unger’s Bible Dictionary.

             1.  Lack of conviction:

                  a.  Example:  The Christians in Corinth.  1 Corinthians 1:10-13 (841); 8:7-8 (845)

             2.  Having conviction:

                  a.  Example: The Christians in Ephesus.  Ephesians 4:1-3, 11-16 (865)

II.   The second attitude is a mind set for consistency (always abounding).

        A.  Our service should be from the heart.  Ephesians 6:6-8 (866)

        B.  Our service should be prioritized.  Matthew 6:33 (707)

        C.  Our service should be fervent.  Romans 12:11 (838)

        D.  Questions:

        E.  Should be done wholeheartedly.

Conclusion:

        A.  Engaging in the Lord’s work brings satisfaction here and in eternity. 1 Cor. 15:58;
              2 Timothy 4:6-8 (880)
