                                                        Psalm 8:3-6

Introduction

     A.  David had just observed a portion of God’s creation and he was in awe.  He

           asked this question (Psalm 8:4).

     B.  Let’s consider what the human being is and how God has spiritually blessed him.

Body

     I.   The human being is:

           A.  a triune comprised of body (Matthew 10:28; James 2:26), soul (Genesis 2:7)

                 and spirit (Ecclesiastes 12:7)

           B.  a steward (Psalm 8:6; Genesis 1:26-28)

           C.  a sinner (Roman 3:23)

           D.  a slave/servant (Romans 6:16-18)

           E.  God’s creation on whom He has set His heart (Job 7:17; Genesis 3:15; John 3:

                 16-17; Romans 5:8).
