THE SPECIAL MOTHER

Proverb 31:28-29

  Introduction:

      A.  The theme of our lesson is a tribute to godly mothers.

  What makes a mother special?

  I.  A special mother trains her children in the teachings of God. 

       Prov. 31:26

      A.  The most important instructions that she can give her children                 are the instructions of GOD.

            II Timothy 3:16-17

      B.  She trains her children as they grow.  Prov. 22:6

      C.  A special mother teaches her children to Love God first.                            Matthew 22:34-38

  II.   A special mother looks to the welfare of her children. 

       Prov. 31:15-17,19,21,27

III.   A special mother sets a good   example for her children. 

       II Timothy 1:3-5. Prov.31

IV.   A special mother will be honored by her children.  Prov. 31:28-30
