2 Corinthians 5:11-21 (854)


       A.  Jesus lived a perfect life, yet He died for us so that we could be declared righteous

       B.  Just as Paul taught the Corinthian Christians to realign their lives more closely to
             Christ, we might need to do the same.

       C.  Three simple, yet important questions to answer.

  I.  What is the controlling factor in my life?

       A.  Examples:  pleasure, career?

       B.  The controlling factor should be the love of Christ.  Vv14-15

                   deny self, take up cross and follow Jesus.

  II.  Am I a new creations?  2 Corinthians 5:17 (854)

       A.  New and different lifestyle?

       B.  We have been reconciled to God.  We have a new assurance. Made righteous.

III.   Am I a minister or servant for Christ?

       A.  Examples:  evangelism, benevolence.

       B.  Every Christian should have a ministry.  Ephesians 4:11-16 (865)
