A. Jesus performed most of His miracles to relieve people in their distress.
1. He fed a hungry multitude. Matthew 15:32-39
2. He opened the eyes of the blind. Matthew 20:29-34
3. He raised a widow’s son. Luke 7:11-16
4. He healed the afflicted. Mark 9:17-27
5. He stilled the troubled sea and relieved the fears of His disciples. Matthew
8:23-27
6. He provided tribute money for Peter to pay taxes. Matthew 17:24-27
7. Jesus manifested the love of God in the mighty miracles He performed.
III. The miracles of Jesus give us a glimpse of His Divine power.
A. His miracles were astonishing. Mark 7:31-37
