Introduction

     A.  The members of the Sanhedrin couldn’t help but note that Peter and John had

           been with Jesus.  Acts 4:13

     B.  One of our goals should be for others to realize that we are living with Jesus.  Gal.

           2:20

Body

     I.  Several lessons that we can learn from the Master Teacher of all ages:

          A.  We can learn purity of heart from Jesus.  Matthew 5:8

                1.  Respect.  Matthew 7:12

                2.  Love.  Matthew 5:43-48; John 13:34-35

          B.  Boldness can be learned from our Lord.  Matthew 23:13-15

          C.  We can learn forgiveness from Jesus.  Matthew 18:21-22

          D.  Obedience can be learned from Jesus.  John 6:38; Matthew 7:21-23

    II.  If we learn these principles from Jesus and apply them, we will have a positive

          influence on others.  Matthew 5:16

          A.  We have a responsibility to learn from Jesus and to live for Him.  When we do

                people will take note.
