WE RECEIVE WHAT WE GIVE

  Introduction

       A.  It has been said, “What goes around comes round.” 

       B.  We reap what we sow.
 
       C.  Jesus used an illustration from the market pace in Luke 6:38 that ensured the full
             amount purchased.

       D.  We receive what we give.

   I.  Consideration.  Colossians 3:12-14 (871)

       A.  If we are considerate of the feelings and needs of others, what can we expect? 

       B.  If we forgive others, we will be blessed by God.  Matthew 6:14-15 (707)

  II.  Consolation.  2 Corinthians 1:8-11, 3-4 (852)

       A.  God consoles us so we can console others.

       B.  If we desire to be consoled, we must console others.  Gal. 6:7

III.  Cooperation.  1 Corinthians 3:5-9 (842);

       A.  To expect cooperation, we must cooperate.  Gal. 6:7; Psalm 133 (481)

IV.  Confidence.  1 John 5:14 (902)

       A.  When we demonstrate our faith in God, other will grow in faith and all of us are
             blessed.   Like 6:38

  Conclusion

       A.  We should have a desire to do what is best for one another.  In this way all of us
             are blessed. Matthew 7:12.  Let’s practice the golden rule.
