B. Let’s approach our relationship with Jesus , not as a baby but as the Christ (the
Anointed One).
C. The question under consideration is this: what do I think about the Christ?
D. Our thoughts will determine our destiny.
Body
I. What do we think about the claims of Christ?
A. Do I believe:
1. His claim to be the Savior of the world? Luke 19:10; Yes or no
2. His claim to be the Son of God? John 3:16-17; Matthew 16:15-17; yes or no
3. His claim to have all spiritual authority in Heaven and on earth? Matthew
28:18; yes or no
B. What should be the basis of my beliefs about Christ?
1. My parents?
2. My church?
3. My preacher?
4. My personal convictions based on God’s word?
II. What do we think about the commands of Christ for lost sinners?
A. Do I believe:
1. His command to repent? yes or no
a. Luke 24:45-53
b. Acts 1:26-2:4; Acts 2:36-39
2. His command to be baptized? Acts 2:38; Matthew 28:18-19; yes or no
Conclusion
A. Why is it important for us to believe Jesus to be the Christ and obey His
Commands? So we can stand before Jesus on the Day of Judgment in a saved
