  Review:

         A.  The literal meaning of the Greek word 'baptizo" means
               an immersion (The Authentic New Testament).

         B.  Several aspects of baptism:

         A.  Baptism identifies and unites us with the sacrifice
               Jesus made for us - His death, His burial, and his
               resurrection from the dead.  (see handout, p.4)

               3.  Questions dealing with Acts 2:38:

                     Is it necessary to repent before the remission of sins?  Yes or No

                     Is it necessary to be baptized before the remission of sins?  Yes or No

                     Repent and be baptized                    Why?

  Closing:

         A. Let's ask ourselves these two questions:
        -    Have I identified with the death, burial, and resurrection
                of Christ through baptism?
             
       -    Have I been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the
                 remission of my sins?
