A CROWN TO WEAR IN THE KINGDOM

                                                          Revelation 2:10;  Matthew 25:34

  Introduction:

      A.  Let us focus on Heaven by looking at two 'word pictures' used by the Bible.

           1.  Kingdom

           2.  Crown

  I.  Heaven is described as a kingdom. ( There is a kingdom in Heaven and a kingdom on earth--Matthew

      6:10 )

      A.  Heaven is a prepared kingdom.  Matthew 25:34

      B.  Heaven is an   eternal or everlasting kingdom.  II Peter 1:11

           1.  We should walk worthy of God's rule.  I Thessalonians 2:12;  Rev. 3:4

  II.   Our reward in Heaven is described as a crown.

      A.  It is an incorruptible crown.  I Corinthians 9:25

      B.  It is a crown of life.  James 1:12: Rev. 2:10

      C.  It is a crown of glory.  I Peter 5:4

      D.  It is a crown of righteous. II Timothy 4:6-8

       A.  Review briefly.

       B.  The rewards of Heaven are great and eternal.  Let's be overcomers and conquerors.  Rev. 14:13
