A GLORIOUS CITY

Revelation 21:1-4, 22-27

  Introduction:

       A.  One of the 'word pictures' used by God to convey to us features of Heaven is 'city'.

   I.  Let's note how God uses the word city to describe Heaven.

       A.  Heaven is a city of Life.  Rev. 21:3-4

       B.  Heaven is a new city.  Rev. 21: 1,4

       C.  Heaven is the city of the living GOD.  Hebrews 12:22;11:16, Rev. 21:3, 27

        D.  Heaven is a holy city.  Rev. 21:2-3, 27

        E.  Heaven is a beautiful city.  Rev. 21: 10-19, 21

   Conclusion:

        A.  Heaven is a glorious city.  We will live there under magnificent, perfect, and glorious conditions.
