SOME FINAL THOUGHTS ABOUT GOD'S AMAZING GRACE

   I.  We need to understand that we can't live just any way under God's grace.

       A.  The most important reason is that God forbids this practice.  Romans 5:20-6:2

      

       B.   Because God has purchased us.  I Corinthians 6:19-20

       C.  Because it's a matter of the heart   Jeremiah 31:31-34

             1.  The Old covenant regulated overt behavior.  Deut.  5:17-19

             2.  The New Covenant regulates the heart.

                  a.  Jesus teaches.  Matthew 5:27-28

                  b.  Paul teaches.  Romans 10:8-10, 6:15-18. 6:3-6

                  c.  Where our treasure is, there will our heart  be.  Mt. 6:21
