FRUSTRATED ABOUT MAKING A DECISION?

                                                      Philippians 4:6 ; Hebrews 4:16

  Introduction:

      A.  Do you ever become frustrated when you face a decision because you don't                     know what decision to make?

      B.  What are we to do? Phil. 4:6 ; Hebs. 4;16

I want us to consider four suggestions when frustrated about making a decision.

  I. Delay action on the decision.

      A.  There are times when we need to wait for God's help.  Psalm 27: 7,11,14

      B.  Why do we feel unsure about making a decision?

  II. Devote time to devotion.  Spend some time with God.

      A.  Don't neglect to pray to God.

      B.  Make a list of pros and cons and petition God.  Hebs. 4:16 ; Phil. 4:6 ;

            James 1:5-6

III.  Continue to do God's will.

     A.  Our service to God helps bring direction to our lives. II Thessalonians 2:14-17

IV.  Depend on God for direction.

     A.  Don't depend on self.  Jeremiah 10:23

     B.  Have faith and confidence in God. Proverb 3:5-6

  Conclusion:

     A.  How do we know when we have enough guidance and understanding with which to make a

          decision?
