REJECTING GOD
Act 24:24-25
Introduction
A. As far as we know Felix died in a lost condition because he rejected God by refusing to accept Jesus as Savior.
B. No one wants to be rejected.
C. Think about how God must feel when people reject Him after all He has done for us.
D. These people are without excuse, and they will reap what they have sown. Galations 6:7-8
I. People have no excuse to reject God.
A. God loves us and the Bible declares His love. John 3:16, Romans 5:8
1. God calls us through His word. II Thessalonians 2:14
2. God uses His goodness and His creation to encourage people to accept Him. Romans 2:3-4,Romans 1:18-22.
II. In spite of these facts, many people still reject God.
A. They reject God's love and mercy.
B. They disregard God's power. II Peter 3:9, Romans 1:16-17
C. They reject the counsel of God. Acts 17:22-23,32
III. Harvest time is coming. Matthew 7:21-23
A. We will reap what we have sown. Galatians 6:6-7
Conclusion
A. Maybe you still have much sowing to do. Why not start sowing what is good?
B. Don't you need to accept God?
